Lighting the path for budding researchers

Home

Aims and Objectives

The journal is aimed to explore mathematics talent, through innovative and creative writings in the form of research articles, reviews, short communications, and to publish theoretical and empirical research. It primarily focuses on undergraduate research and is thrust upon providing a platform for students to experience what research entails – or, that which can be achieved at this beginning level.

Our objective for this journal is to motivate our students to establish and understand the rigour of mathematics and its association with other different disciplines, as well as to handle real world problems arising in different spheres of life. The objective of the journal is therefore to identify and encourage prospective, budding researchers to undertake individual research and write an academic paper, going beyond the prescribed limits of the curriculum and broaden the horizon of their knowledge and understanding of the subject.

From the Principal’s Desk

Greetings,

Congratulations to Department of Mathematics for bringing up the annual academic Journal “Éclat” in electronic format.  As we all know, the Department has been bringing out this Journal in the print form for the last 10 years. This transition to digital form is a logical progression as well as environmental friendly. I wholeheartedly welcome this and appreciate good work of the Department.

I am extremely happy to note the  initiative, diligence and dedication put in by the teachers, contributors and the editorial board of the Journal. Their sincerity and hard work is evident in the e-version of Éclat. I understand that the journal is immensely educative and covers various dimensions of the subject and hence would be very useful for the students.
